The Company

SummerSaid is a minority woman-owned agency established in 2018 and headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. We provide administrative, operations, and project management services to corporate clients and small business owners. 

We also provide comprehensive support for the entire life cycle of an executive assistant in three ways: 

  • executive assistant talent recruitment (acquisition & onboarding)

  • The A.T.O.M.I.C. Assistant Accelerator program (training & development)

  • the executive assistant agency (career progression)

The Founder

Summer Swafford is the Founder of SummerSaid and is a Remote Project Manager. She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems as well as an M.S. in Respiratory Care from Rush University.

With almost 20 years of supporting executive level leaders in the nonprofit and higher education space at Tulane University, Georgia State University, Xavier University of Louisiana, Teach for America, and Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana, Summer has leveraged her professional experience to serve her clients as a Remote Project Manager.

She started SummerSaid to provide consulting services to corporate clients which she has expanded into an Agency of Consultants. Her passion is elevating the work and profession of Executive Assistants since that is where her career began. She does this via The A.T.O.M.I.C. Assistant Accelerator program.

No, SummerSaid is a small but mighty team of project management and operations management experts who provide administrative, operations, and project management services. We have 38 years of combined professional experience. 

We support solopreneurs, small business owners, and corporate clients (for profit and nonprofit) who have a gross revenue of at least $100,000 per year. Some of our clients include attorneys, certified public accountants, insurance agencies, national nonprofits, k-12 schools, higher education institutions, authors, coaches, and consultants. 

Some of our services include but are not limited to:

  • introducing and implementing technology platforms and software for internal business operations
  • creating structure and systems around email management and calendar management to give the business owner their time back
  • managing mid-range to long-term projects and serving as point-of-contact on behalf of the business owner or team leader
  • project management of mergers and acquisitions as well as dissolutions of organizations
  • skills training for executive assistants or support team to develop their leadership and operate like project managers
  • restructuring the division of work across team members and updating roles in a strategic way using metrics and feedback
  • partnering with a Business & Workplace Strategist to provide parallel support to both the leader and the assistant
  • collaborating with a Certified Behavioral Specialist to introduce behavioral analysis through team workshops in combination with operations and administrative support to transform corporate culture and operations

For agency clients, we will start with a 30-to-90 day contract to make sure it’s a good fit for both the client and the agency.  Our typical contract is one year. You are assigned your own Consultant who you will work with for the duration of your contract. 

For A.T.O.M.I.C. Assistant Accelerator clients, the professional development program is a 12-week (3 month) program. 

Yes, we can customize administrative, operations, and project management curriculum to fit your group’s needs via online (Zoom) or in person at your location. Please note that it is an additional fee to the workshop investment to deliver the training in person.
